Finger Lakes Food Tours, LLC | Tours In The Finger Lakes is restarting our 2021 season with a new set of safety guidelines designed for the physical well-being of our guests, and the members of our local community. These guidelines have been developed in line with the best practices published by our state government and local health officials with regard to restaurant and/or tour operations. Our customers are of the utmost importance, so we want to reassure you of the steps our company is taking to ensure guests can continue to explore and enjoy with peace of mind to stay as safe as possible. These new procedures we are instituting will include:
♦ Reducing group size: Our small group tours just got smaller. That means that any of our tours will accommodate no more than (6) people. Participants must be from the same family/household or persons who have been in contact with one another prior to our tour. A COVID-19 waiver is required and must be signed at time of online reservation. All visitors over the age of two are required to wear face masks covering their nose and mouth. If a guest is feeling unwell prior to scheduled tour date or on day of tour; please be advised we will be more than happy to reschedule your tour for you.
♦ Maintaining social distancing requirements: The tour guide will maintain social distancing during tours according to regulations issued by state & local health authorities.
♦ The wearing of masks: We offer a number of tours to choose from on different days of the week and each tour has a pre-assigned meeting place. Every tour requires each and every guest planning on participating to have their masks on and in place prior to checking in as everyone assembles. Should a guest show up for one of our tours without a mask, one will be provided by your guide at an additional cost and every person must be wearing a mask in order for the tour to commence. It is also advisable for each participant to bring a pen of their own to sign our waiver & release of liability form.
♦ Visiting restaurants safely: Our tours will only visit restaurants and shops that are adhering to official safety standards and regulations. Our tours will continue to feature independent, family run businesses and spotlighting our local products. It is our small, independent businesses that make our towns/cities the heart of what is so impressive.
